I am Heather L. Sanders and I’m the owner of this site. Though it has been a couple of years since I was knee deep in the cloth diapering trenches, I am no stranger to cloth diapers or to the online world that has come to be known as The Diaper Underground.

A good deal of my cloth diapering journey has been published for eternity across the internet. My very first article, The Online Drama of Disposable versus Cloth Diapers, will give you a glimpse into how I came to cloth diaper my children.

Since 2002, I have started and sold two successful online cloth diapering businesses. While running those two businesses I gave cloth diapering information and instruction classes in local Bradley Method natural birthing classes.

In addition to those two businesses, I wrote exclusively for Jennifer at Diaper Pin in the Cut of Cloth section. Shortly thereafter, I wrote a few articles for Natural Family Online. In 2004 I served as one of the Moderators for the Diapering Forums at Mothering.com. Later, I worked as the Assistant Administrator under the reknown and well-loved Cynthia Mosher for the entire forum, and served on the Expert Panel at Mothering.com for cloth diapering.

I am one of the founders of the Real Diaper Association and was blessed to work with the likes of Jessica of Very Baby, Lori of Fuzbaby.com and Fireflydiapers.com, Marie of PMOrganics.com, and Angelique.

As my children moved out of the world of cloth diapers, I found interest in website maintenance, search engine optimization and all the detailed work of e-commerce. I took over a web hosting business at the request of Jessica Wiseman, developed it, and ran it for a period of one year; I sold that business on October 4, 2006.
